About this deal

The Deathwatch supplementincludes – you’ve guessed it –army-specific datasheets, rules, and bespoke Crusade content for the elite Chamber Militant of the Ordo Xenos, a.k.a. the silver-shouldered badasses of the Deathwatch. For the cloak I went warmer, using XV-88 as the base. To distinguish from any similarly toned battlesuits, and to make the cloak feel organic, I went with an Agrax Earthshade wash, and then a highlight with Karak Stone (Karak is my goto highlight for leather). Credit: Lupe If the Kauyon Tactical Philosophy is your kind of style, Reinforced Armour will keep your big guns safe until you hit that vital late-game surge, while Fire Warriors can bait their targets into charging before beating a Rapid Retreat and gunning them down. Codices for particular armies were introduced for the second edition of the game. The third edition rendered these obsolete, and a new series began, including introducing codices for battle zones and campaigns. Until superseded by newer versions, the 3rd edition and later codices remained valid for the newer editions of Warhammer 40,000. Games Workshop no longer produce campaign or battle zone codices, instead releasing 'expansions'. 'Codex' is now a term solely used for army books.

During an early sphere of expansion, the T’au encountered the forces of the Imperium of Man. Six thousand years earlier, the Imperium had surveyed the T’au homeworld but disregarded them as little more than stone-banging primitives. GW has confirmed a new Tau codex will be one of the Warhammer 40k releases of the new year in 2022- here’s all the new models and rules so far! That tenet must be selected from a list corresponding to a Sector that is adjacent (as shown on the map below) to the one you selected your first tenet from. Mont’ka instead cares about a strong start, allowing movement and being treated as remaining stationery, plus getting an extra AP and wound re-rolls of 1 if targetting the closest unit (within the specified distance above). The Dark Angels supplement – the fourth such Space Marine chapter supplement – features custom-made “datasheets, Warlord Traits, Relics, and a Psychic Discipline, as well as a suite of Crusade campaign rules that represent the sombre quest of the Unforgiven”, according to GW. Let’s take a look at the most recent new Tau models and of course the new rules in the codex book as well! New Tau 9th Edition Codex Cover & 40k Rules

T’au armies work best when working as a cohesive whole. Models such as the Darkstrider can mark priority targets, giving nearby units a buff when shooting at an enemy. Another example of T’au synergy is their crucial Markerlight mechanic, a buff that allows any unit with the Markerlight keyword to pop tokens on an enemy at the start of the Movement Phase. That’s about it, just need to base the thing. They aren’t going to win any awards, but I was able to paint them in about an hour, and now that I have the scheme sorted enough to not have to think about it, assembly-lining a squad of 10 in a How to Paint Everything: T’au evening is probably a reasonable pace.Second, Exemplar of the Kauyon also looks very strong, being able to completely switch up your turn 1 gameplan after deployment to surprise your opponent is a powerful competitive edge. Especially if you are Kauyon and get to redeploy three whole units! Imperial Armour is a series of official rules supplements to Warhammer 40,000 Codices produced by Forge World, a subsidiary company of Games Workshop. Current, valid books: Previously, all drones had more or less the exact same stat line, however, this new change gives them way more diversity! It’s also a little hilarious that shield drones are now tanky-er than a Chaos Space Marine, but hey, this is still a great and welcome update! These new stat lines will hopefully make the decision on drone types in lists much more interactive and interesting. Gone are teh days of only taking gun drones and shield drones… From Bork’an Sept’s renowned applied science divisions come the most advanced and ingenious weapon prototypes, and the finest suits of combat armour, field tested by elite contingents of Fire Caste soldiers. This book contains a complete army list for using a Tau army. Further special rules, equipment as well as this is included.
