Of course this is not a break with tradition let alone a paradigm shift in terms of sound tuning as he has already worked on earlier models. This guarantees the perfect combination of the tried and tested with the new, and manifests itself merely through slight naunces in a long-proven sound tuning, particulary with a slightly more physical and powerful and possibly a trace darker timbre while retaining high transparency. The design is one of the best I have ever seen and used. The rounded edge on the front panel makes it look like a professional high-end product. The Denon PMA-600NE is a high-quality audio system that looks and feels like it was made with care. Its years of development have resulted in a sleek, contemporary design and exceptional sound quality. Of course, the 800 series from the same manufacturer is yet a bit better, so it is worth considering maybe saving one or two hundred Euros more. Nevertheless, this is powerful competition from within the company with an outstanding value for money and probably many years of musical fun for the buyer in both cases. Analog Mode allows the PMA-600NE to operate as a purely analogue amp, disabling digital inputs as well as Bluetooth while you listen to an analogue source. Turn on Analog Mode to close power to the dedicated digital power source and stop operation of the digital input and Bluetooth circuity, avoiding any high frequency influence on the analogue section of the PMA-600NE. The Denon PMA-600NE is an affordable high quality integrated amp with a slim design and can power a wide range of speakers and produce audio with high-quality sound. It can easily power your loudspeakers to deliver 70W of power per channel and it features an analog mode that allows you to operate the amp as a purely analog amp and this disables digital input and Bluetooth circuitry preventing any high-frequency interference with the analog mode. The PMA-600NE includes state-of-the-art components and innovative features. The amp has a 45 watt RMS power rating and employs a single push-pull circuit based on Denon’s Advanced High Current (AHC) technology to provide a strong and precise sound. The AHC hardware was developed to enhance transient sensitivity and lessen distortion for a more authentic sound. This plastic sheet (about six inches by three inches in size) is attached to the top of the amp by four plastic clips which have been clipped to four of the holes of the grille in the metal case of the amp. It would not be easy to remove this plastic sheet, so I assume that it is not to be removed. What is the purpose of this plastic sheet, please? Borrowing from the 800NE has also shortened the signal paths in the unit and improved the mechanical design with regard to low resonance/vibration dissipation. This includes the significantly improved feet that have been adopted from the larger siblings. Also several components are now of a higher quality. For example the unbranded electrolytic capacitors and other components in the 520AE have here been replaced with higher quality ones from ELNA, Nichicon, Rubycon and others.
